ALPINE; A LEGENDARY BRAND MOVING INTO THE FUTURE
Alpine was founded in France in 1955 by a passionate motorsports enthusiast. His favorite environment, the Alps, inspired the name Alpine. He built Alpine’s success on three principles: lightness, agility and racing spirit. From the first race victories to today, Alpine’s DNA has remained true to these values. The new generation of A110 offers a modern reinterpretation of these timeless codes that have contributed to Alpine’s success; an exhilarating driving experience, for everyone, every day.
SPIRIT OF COMPETITION
Alpine is the embodiment of French motorsport. The brand has built its reputation on memorable victories won throughout its history. Motorsport is deeply embedded in Alpine’s DNA. From the creation of the brand until today, the cars marked with the A have shone on circuits around the world. The Alpine legend made its debut in 1971 at the Monte Carlo Rally with the victory of the A110 saloon. It was successful again in 1973 by winning the first world rally championship. In 1978, Alpine won the premier endurance class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the A442B. 2021 opens a new chapter marked by successes in the different disciplines of motor sport. Its participation in Formula 1 was crowned by a victory in the Hungarian GP. At the same time, the brand returns to the premier class of the world endurance championship with a podium finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Finally, Alpine returns to the top of the rally discipline with the FIA R-GT Cup.
