Committed to the planet and aiming to create a sustainable marina
Since its inauguration in 1970, Puerto Banús® has been a port reference as a national and international tourist destination, positioning itself as one of the most important luxury nautical ports in all of Europe.
In recent years, besides continuing with its mission of offering an excellent service to all its visitors, and holding its position as one of the favourite tourist enclaves of Spaniards and foreigners. In terms of environmental responsibility, Puerto Banús has proposed to work diligently to become one of the best ports, changing habits and incorporating additional measures that allow both visitors and employees to preserve our facilities and our environment. It is part of our values and philosophy.
SUSTAINABLE MARINA
Herefore, in Puerto Banús we have started a strategic plan with a transversal approach that will drive us to becoming a Sustainable Marina, concentrating equally on the economic development, social equity, and protecting the environment.
We developed this view of a Sustainable Marina from four basic pillars:

Management systems as tools for continuous improvement of economic, social, and environmental performance, and are audited and certified by external companies.

The use of the best technologies and innovative solutions.

The plan towards a Sustainable Marina in which we will work on different goals and actions over the next few years, each one derives from complying with the 17 Goals established by the United Nations in its 2030 Agenda, in order to make our world a better place and better quality of life for the coming years, trying to bring to an end poverty, protect our planet and guarantee peace and prosperity for everyone.
