We are proud to announce that Puerto Banús has been distinguished as a Sustainable Luxury Destination in the XIII edition of the LA RAZÓN Tourism Awards, held at the emblematic Royal Post Office in Madrid.
This recognition highlights our commitment to sustainability and innovation in the tourism sector and underscores our continuous efforts to offer a responsible and environmentally friendly luxury experience. The ceremony, hosted by Roberto Brasero from Antena 3, brought together prominent political representatives, businesses, and media in an evening dedicated to recognizing the resilience and capacity for reinvention of the Spanish tourism industry.
Francisco Marhuenda, director of LA RAZÓN, welcomed the attendees and praised “the quality of the Spanish tourism industry, which positions us as world leaders. We are facing a sector that will never disappear but has the ability to reinvent itself and lead the change.”
Spain stands out as a top-tier global tourist destination, and the data confirms it. In 2023, the number of international tourists reached a record high, exceeding 85 million visitors. For 2024, an even greater increase is expected, as Spain has established itself as one of the preferred destinations for this summer, with forecasts indicating that it will surpass 90 million foreign tourists this year.
In this new edition of the annual Tourism Awards, LA RAZÓN has decided to highlight the destinations, institutions, and companies in the sector that have been key to the tourism agenda over the past year.
