A total of seven monumental sculptures have been installed on the docks of our marina, which will be installed until July 2, 2023. A cultural sculptural exhibition for the whole family with which the artist pays tribute to the palace as an example of tolerance and coexistence, as a meeting point between Muslim and Christian culture. Puerto Banús, in collaboration with Cristobal Gabarrón, a multidisciplinary Spanish artist, brings his international exhibition ”The Towers of the Alhambra” to Marbella for the first time, an exhibition made up of polychrome fiberglass sculptures that arouse emotion with their shapes and colors. The sculptures denote some architectural characteristics of the Alhambra, creating a whole dynamism and different perspectives.

Cristobal Gabarrón, born in Mula (Murcia), received his first artistic training in Valladolid before continuing his career in France, Italy and the United States, and is internationally recognised as a painter, sculptor and muralist, who through his works shows his interest in humanism and our coexistence in harmony with nature and the development of human values. With this work, the artist invites us on a journey to the characteristic architecture of the Arab fortress through a game of colorful contrasts that he uses in his works, which are attractive for all ages. “Through this international exhibition I intend to make a call to attention towards tolerance, harmony and coexistence lived in a time in which all cultures coexisted, elements that are so lacking in this new complicated society that we are building,” explains Cristobal Gabarrón.
