The 1st International Yoga Festival will be celebrated in Puerto Banús

Puerto Banús and Fermín Suárez Yoga School & MIND come together to celebrate the 1st International Yoga Festival in an unparalleled setting on the dock of the marina; a unique enclave to connect the body, breath and mind in the middle of the sea. Some twenty experts in this discipline will offer 30 yoga sessions, workshops, meditations and talks and, in addition, you will be able to enjoy a gastronomical and artisan market.

From Friday May 26 to Sunday May 28, the I International Yoga Festival will be held in Puerto Banús; a weekend in which the participants will be able to enjoy a multitude of classes of the different types of yoga alongside Fermín Suárez Yoga School & MIND and over twenty recognized teachers of this discipline. In addition, talks, meditations, sound baths and several very special multiteacher masterclasses will be offered. This festival is for the whole family and the little ones are welcome too!

Calendar of dates and times of the I International Yoga Festival:

-Friday, May 26: from 6:00 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.

-Saturday May 27: from 09:30 to 23:00 p.m.

-Sunday May 28: from 09:30 to 14:30 p.m.

Yoga lovers will gather to enjoy classes adapted to all levels, with very experienced teachers in this practice that helps connect body and soul. Admission will be free with given the limited places.

In this I International Yoga Festival, from Friday, May 26 at 6:00 p.m. and until Sunday May 28 at 2:00 p.m., the teachers will teach a wide variety of classes throughout the weekend in a very attractive program that practitioners will be able to enjoy.

More than 20 renowned professors of this discipline, from different areas of Spain and the United Kingdom, will meet to offer a very special experience in our marina, where participants will be able to enjoy a weekend in a unique enclave led by Fermín Suárez Yoga School & MIND, and teachers such as Javi Castro, Gabi Mastragostino, Deborah Niccolini, Antonio Galán and Estelle LYS amongst many more.

Led by the British teacher Estelle LYS and Smart Yachting, Puerto Banús will offer yoga sessions on board yachts; a unique and exclusive experience for small groups that will connect the nautical world with this spiritual discipline.

As part of this festival, there will be a craft market area with products and accessories which are perfect for practitioners of this discipline.

An event that connects mind and body… also through music

During the weekend, classes will be held at various times and of different types of yoga between the dock and the Dock of Honor, from Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa and Ashtanga yoga, among many more, talks, workshops, meditation sessions, sound baths and live music with talas and ragas, which are composed of Hindu rhythms.

After the great reception in 2022 of our I Yoga and Meditation Masterclass in which more than 350 people gathered to live an outdoor experience on the dam led by 7 experts, it is expected that this year the I International Festival of Yoga brings together more than 4,000 people from all over the country, where yoga practitioners of all ages can enjoy this discipline and specialized workshops, meditations, healthy food and organic products with unbeatable views.

The teachers

Fermín Suárez, from Fermín Suárez Yoga School & MIND, began his journey in yoga almost 30 years ago, going through different styles and lineages such as ashtanga yoga, Iyengar, kundalini and Sivananda, creating his own very versatile method based on the knowledge gathered from the different styles he made himself.

Today, he is the founder and director of the Fermin Suárez Yoga School Association in Marbella and creator of the method that bears his name. He is a yoga teacher for the Spanish Yoga Federation, Yoga Alliance, European Yoga Federation and Fedefy.

It is worth noting the versatility of the style created by Fermín Suárez, due to the contribution of anatomical and biomechanical knowledge, applied to conscious movement, so that the practice of yoga is a vehicle for liberation and meditation. Through the different disciplines that added to this concept in his youth, such as the practice of Taichi, karate, Shotokan and taekwondo, together with the practice maintained for years of classical ballet and fitness.

Pablo D’Aloia began his journey 25 years ago in traditional hatha yoga and specialized over time in mental techniques and his benefits to accompany them with ancestral instruments.

Antonio Galán is a chiromassage specialist and has 11 years of experience in the world of yoga, being passionate about biomechanics and the functioning of the body in depth.

Lourdes Vidal is an AdvancedYoga Medicine Teacher with more than 25 years practicing this discipline, and her style is Vinyasa Flow, anatomically specific and very conscious and inspired by a practical and easy philosophy.

Gabi Mastragostino, born in Argentina and based in Marbella, is a yoga teacher certified by the Yoga Alliance: 200RYT and 500RYT. He started this practice under the teaching of Fermín Suarez at the Hot Fit Yoga school in Marbella.

Deborah Niccolini, is a yoga teacher with more than six years of experience and 10 as a practitioner. She dedicates her life to sharing her teachings from Marbella to Cádiz in order to improve every day and continue learning from this practice that connects the body, breathing And the mind.

Javi Castro E-RYT500 is Director of the Yogashala Institute and teacher of Therapeutic Yoga, Vinyasa Technique & Anusara.

Elena SuaLeiva will offer a Sensory Power Yoga class; a journey inside, to our essence, to awaken our senses and connect with intuition.

Estelle is the creator & CEO of HEAL Well-being and YogaBears and loves to journey through the chakras awakening the super powers we all have within.

Valle Carrasquilla has over 10 years of experience at the Fermín Suarez Yoga School.

Lory Huguet was formed 9 years ago with Amelie Strecker at Yogaroom and will share a vinyasa yoga flow practice, where we will connect breathing, movement and feeling.

Majo Yosoyoga is a teacher of hatha yoga, vinyasa, yin yoga and aerial yoga 200H, 400H and 500H by the Yoga Alliance and she will give a gentle hip-opening vinyasa session.

Miriam Costas; Yoga came into her life more than 15 years ago and she planted a seed that with the passage of time has not stopped growing and generating a passion that she today shares with her students.

Andrea Martello has been involved in yoga since childhood and will offer to offer a “yoga of the senses” class paying special attention to smell, touch, taste and hearing.

Patricia Yael invites us to enjoy classes where the asana is fused with more movement in space, in communion with your breath and music.

Jovita Yoga began her journey in classical hatha and jumped into the air, India taught her iyengar and her bare feet led her to anusara and yin.

Louise Lavigne fell in love with yoga in a Mayan village in the Yucatan 20 years ago. Her trajectory includes founding a Yoga Center in Seville (YogaLoft) and she currently runs her Training School.

Luz Gámez is formed by the Fermín Suárez Yoga School Association (Yoga Alliance USA) and she will share a classical yoga session, Sivananda’s Rishikesh series and the 12 mother asanas of Hatha Yoga.

Mimi is a Kundalini Activation Facilitator

Shima Shadrouh is the author of the book Infinite Love and a business and personal coach and will offer a talk on human potential and the number one key to living our best version.

Patricia de la Lastra is a 500-hour teacher trained in different schools such as Yoga Alliance, Yoga for Children and Reiki Level 2.

Mayte González was born in Marbella and teaches at the Marbella town hall and at the Fermín Suárez Yoga School association and continues training at the Yoga Alliance USA.

Pablo Vázquez has a degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences and for him, yoga changed his life and, for this reason, he will share with us a magical session of vinyasa power yoga.

Elena Fernández is a Reiki Usui Mastery RHS 200 Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga teacher and will accompany us in various healing and relaxation meditations. @Elena_fernandez_ortega

Romina is trained in various energy techniques such as EMF Balancing Technique and Usui Reiki and will offer meditations and sound baths to seek balance. @soyromigarcia

Rocío Giménez and Carlos Martín Mora from Salud Minimalista are Āyurveda therapists, health coaches and Plant Based Chefs. Founders of Salud Minimalista, Kitchen Kharma and Bio Experience.
