Puerto Banús becomes the first in Spain to introduce a cutting-edge water security and surveillance service. From July 2024, certified guards patrol the marina on jet skis—courtesy of Prosegur—enhancing navigation control, preventing unauthorized access, and strengthening emergency response.
After five consecutive years of drought, Andalusia reports reservoir levels at just 20% capacity. Puerto Banús advocates for responsible water use, including leak repairs, efficient irrigation systems, low-flow devices in homes, and mandatory spray nozzles on boats—a regulation in place since 2022.
From April 26 to 28, Puerto Banús will host the second edition of its International Yoga Festival. More than 8,000 participants will gather for open-air classes, meditation, sound baths, and artisan markets led by renowned instructors such as Xuan Lan and Fermín Suárez—offering a transformative wellness experience by the sea.
From June 14 to 16, Puerto Banús will host Banús eBoat by Galaxia, the largest gathering of cutting-edge electric and hybrid vessels in Europe. The event will spotlight the latest innovations in sustainable nautical design.
On June 1–2, Puerto Banús welcomed the E1 Grand Prix, known as the “Formula 1 of the sea.” Featuring RaceBird boats powered by electricity and hydrogen, the zero-emissions event also included harbour clean-ups, educational initiatives, and sustainability workshops.
