Monaco, Hong Kong, Ginebra, Jeddah, Rotterdam, Venice… and in June Puerto Banús will join these iconic cities to host the 2024 edition of E1, the Offshore Electric Formula 1, a groundbreaking global sport powered by the only electric motor authorized by the International Motorcycle Union. Conceived by Alejandro Agag and Rodi Basso—an Italian engineer with experience at NASA, Ferrari, and Red Bull Racing—E1 brings high-speed, sustainable racing to the water.

Thanks to the unwavering support of key institutions—including the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Government of Andalusia, Marbella City Council, Málaga Provincial Council, and the Commonwealth of Municipalities of the Costa del Sol—Puerto Banús will proudly host this international event in June 2024.

Each E1 team is captained by global icons from the world of sport and entertainment, including Rafa Nadal, Sergio Pérez, Didier Drogba, Tom Brady, Marc Anthony, and Steve Aoki, among others. Teams are composed of one man and one woman, both competing for equal time in each race. Drivers hail from elite motorsport disciplines such as Dakar, Trial, W Series, and Formula Ford. Representing Spain are Laia Sanz and Cris Lazarraga, two internationally acclaimed motor athletes.

Puerto Banús will host what is expected to be the most globally visible sustainable event of 2024, with an estimated social media reach exceeding 1 billion views across four platforms.
