Modernization of facilities with the incorporation of floating piers
Economic growth, social development and action against climate change largely depend on investment in infrastructure, sustainable industrial development and technological progress. For this reason, at Puerto Banús we are investing in the modernization of our infrastructures to promote sustainable industrialization and innovation.
In October 2022, the first phase of a modernization project began in our facilities to renew infrastructure that is over 50 years old and whose useful life has already expired, as part of the investment necessary and accepted by the APPA ( Public Agency of Ports of Andalusia).
The works, which have involved an investment of more than two million euros, have been carried out in such a way as to guarantee the maintenance of the marina’s activities.
The replacement of fixed pontoons with floating ones represents an improvement in the overall efficiency and productivity of the activity carried out, by achieving an increase in the functionality of the nautical activity due to the simplification of accessibility and improvement of docking and mooring.
With this, at Puerto Banús we remain firm in our mission to offer an excellent service for all our clients and visitors, maintaining our position as a port of reference and tourist destination at a national and international level.
