Obtaining the Blue Flag award, reaffirming our commitment to being a sustainable marina
The Blue Flag is an award given annually since 1987 by the Environmental Education Foundation to beaches and ports that meet a series of environmental conditions and facilities.
In 2019, from Puerto Banús, we set ourselves the goal of becoming a Sustainable Marina, and for this, we drew up an action plan with different goals for the next four years.
This 2022, our marina has achieved this certification, which represents and reiterates our firm commitment to work every day to exercise and promote responsibility with our natural resources both to our customers and visitors, as well as to suppliers and employees.
With this Blue Flag that Puerto Banús has achieved, and that we now wave in our marina, the city of Marbella leads Andalusia, with seven beaches and two ports having the recognition.
