A total of six monumental sculptures have been installed on the docks of our port area, which will be installed until January 21, 2024. A sculptural exhibition for the whole family with which the artist encourages dialogue between art and public space as a form life of social relevance.<\/strong><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.22.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n At an event attended by more than 150 guests, Puerto Ban\u00fas celebrated the inauguration of a new large-format sculpture exhibition on its Muelle de Honor; an artistic showcase arriving in Marbella for the first time after touring cities such as Rome, Milan, Miami, and Shanghai.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2018The Journey of Life<\/strong>\u2019 is the title of this exhibition, composed of six sculptures in bronze and marble which, through their circular forms, guide the viewer on a fluid journey and transform the marina into a magnificent open-air gallery.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https:\/\/puerto-banus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/020A8041-scaled.jpg” alt=”Jim\u00e9nez Deredia – The Journey of Life \u2013 Crepusculo” title_text=”020A8041″ _builder_version=”4.22.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.22.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n Accompanied by Benjam\u00edn S\u00e1nchez Morett, Marketing Director of C\u00edvitas Puerto Ban\u00fas, the artist explained that his inspiration “are the pre-Columbian stone spheres of different sizes made by the ancient Boruca culture developed in Costa Rica more than 2,000 years ago.”<\/p>\n The exhibition ‘El Viaje de la Vida’ encourages dialogue between art and public space as a vital form of social relevance. “It is a couple endowed with a force that is manifested in the emotion that the urban landscape provokes in front of the sculptures,” declared Jimenez Deredia.<\/p>\n With this sculptural exhibition, the artist born in Heredia, Costa Rica, unites the notion of eternity and the cosmos in volumetric archetypal female figures of fertility and their importance is amplified in the white and Mediterranean surroundings of the marina that, exhibition after exhibition, it turns out to be an unmatched framework.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.21.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n MAP OF THE LOCATION OF THE SCULPTURES IN C\u00cdVITAS PUERTO BAN\u00daS<\/strong><\/p>\n
