With this, Puerto Ban\u00fas wants to share with its visitors the history and culture of the Andalusian community, to which it proudly belongs.<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The Gale\u00f3n Andaluc\u00eda, one of the most representative ships of Spanish naval history, will dock in Puerto Ban\u00fas to commemorate The Andalusia Day. From Wednesday 23rd until Monday 28th (regional holiday), you can visit this ship at berth 1 of our Muelle de Honor.<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>The replica is an imposing ship of 55 metres in length, six decks, made of iroko and pine wood, and almost a thousand square metres of sail area in its seven sails, built with careful historical rigour. An authentic floating museum of our maritime culture that has already sailed more than 55,000 nautical miles across oceans and seas all over the world, visiting ports on four continents, such as Shanghai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Manila, New York or Quebec, spreading our history, and now in Puerto Ban\u00fas!<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-18090\" src=\"https:\/\/puerto-banus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/galeon-andalucia-puerto-banus-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\r\n<figcaption>\r\n<p><em>The Gale\u00f3n Andaluc\u00eda visits Puerto Ban\u00fas for the first time.<\/em><\/p>\r\n<\/figcaption>\r\n<\/figure>\r\n<p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>The Gale\u00f3n Andaluc\u00eda is today one of the main attractions for adults and children who are passionate about history and navigation. Designed and built in 2010 by Ignacio Fern\u00e1ndez Vial, this huge vessel provides an insight into these mythical ships that for three centuries linked Spain, America and Asia, sailing the seas and oceans of the planet to trade between the continents.<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>During your six-day stay in Puerto Ban\u00fas, you will be able to go on board and discover what these ships were like four centuries ago, and discover their shapes, details, dimensions, manoeuvres, their fabulous voyage, the extreme living conditions of the sailors of the time and the space where the sailors of yesteryear and the current crew were confined. In its hold you will also be able to experience the wy of life of the crew who still sail aboard this legendary ship today.<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>A great event for the whole family this long weekend in Andalusia, with one of the most legendary ships in our history.
