Officially, there are now only 365 days left before the biennial golf tournament arrives in Spain for the first time with forecasts of reaching emblematic figures.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>Last Wednesday, September 21st,\u00a0<strong>One Year to Go<\/strong>, the official event for the countdown to the Solheim Cup 2023, was held in Puerto Ban\u00fas. 365 children from Andalusian golf schools gathered along the dock to perform \u201cThe longest swing\u201d; 365 shots towards the sea with biodegradable balls, each child representing a day left to start the competition.<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>On October 13th, 2020, the news was announced that Spain would host the 2023 Solheim Cup at Finca Cortes\u00edn, where the United States and Europe will face each other<strong>\u00a0in Spain, for the first time in the entire history of the tournament.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-2 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\r\n<ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\">\r\n<li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\">\r\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-21683\" src=\"https:\/\/puerto-banus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/DSC0043-1200x801.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"21683\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/puerto-banus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/DSC0043-scaled.jpg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/puerto-banus.com\/?attachment_id=21683#main\" \/><\/figure>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\">\r\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-21687\" src=\"https:\/\/puerto-banus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/DSC0053-1200x801.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"21687\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/puerto-banus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/DSC0053-scaled.jpg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/puerto-banus.com\/?attachment_id=21687#main\" \/><\/figure>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/figure>\r\n<p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>The days go by and indicate that there are only 365 days left to start the competition that will be held from the 21st to the 24th of September 2023 in Marbella.<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>Before that date, promotional events for the Solheim Cup 2023 are being held throughout the national territory, and<strong>\u00a0Puerto Ban\u00fas has been the setting chosen for the celebration of One Year to Go<\/strong>, an event that has been held just one year before the start of the tournament for the official start of the countdown.<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>After 365 children took their shot from the Puerto Ban\u00fas dock into the sea, the\u00a0<strong>European captain, Suzann Pettersen, landed by helicopter in the marina together with Andr\u00e9s Velencoso, Spanish actor and model, and Alberto Missis<\/strong>, guitarist of the band Dvicio.
