E1, the Offshore Electric Formula 1, is a new global sport with the only electric motor authorized by the International Motorcycle Union. Devised by Alejandro Agag and Rodi Basso (Italian engineer who has collaborated with NASA, Ferrari and Red Bull Racing), E1 will be held in 2024 in international locations such as Monaco, Hong Kong, Geneva, Venice… and in June in Puerto Ban\u00fas.<\/span><\/p>\n

It has been possible to bring this international event to Puerto Ban\u00fas thanks to the determined support of the Administrations that accompany us: Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Government of Andalusia, Marbella City Council, M\u00e1laga Provincial Council and the Commonwealth of Municipalities of the Costa del Sol.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each of the E1 participating teams will be captained by icons of the most successful sports careers with the greatest global projection: Rafa Nadal, Sergio P\u00e9rez, Didier Drogba, Tom Brady, Steve Aoki, among others.<\/span><\/p>\n

All teams will be made up of a man and a woman who must compete for exactly the same amount of time in the races. The drivers are professionals from the Dakar, Trial, W Series or Formula Ford. Spain is represented by Laia Sanz and Cris Lazarraga, both international motor stars.<\/span><\/p>\n

Puerto Ban\u00fas hosts the sustainable event with the greatest international projection in 2024: Estimated accumulated audience of more than 1,000 million on social media on 4 platforms.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event will begin on the first Saturday of June, the 1st, in Puerto Ban\u00fas.<\/span><\/p>\n

On Saturday, June 1st, the teams will compete in the qualifying races, and on Sunday the semifinal and final will be held.<\/span><\/p>\n

The VIP stands will accommodate around 3,000 people, with the hospitality of the competition being assured at the same level as that of F1 or the ATP.<\/span><\/p>\n

The countdown to the inaugural season of the UIM E1 World Championship has begun, with series organisers confirming that Jeddah will host the first-ever E1 race in January 2024. Developed to minimise environmental impact and maximise sustainable logistics solutions, the provisional UIM E1 World Championship racing schedule for Season One is now live.<\/p>\n
