Puerto Ban\u00fas is a member of the \u2018Net-Zero Sea Alliance<\/a><\/strong>\u2019, a non-profit platform promoted by Iberdrola,\u00a0focused on the decarbonisation and electrification of maritime operations<\/strong>\u00a0and open to all agents in the logistics chain. It was born with the aim of positioning the Spanish maritime industry as a leader in the electrification of ports and in the decarbonisation of maritime transport. \u2018Net-Zero MAR\u2019 also has the purpose of making ports much more sustainable infrastructures.<\/h3>\n

CO2 is one of the main causes of the greenhouse effect and, therefore, of global warming and climate change. For this reason, and to be on the path to full decarboniSation by 2050,\u00a05% of maritime transport fuels must be decarboniSed by 2030.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

On November 21, 2021, the \u2018Net-Zero MAR Alliance\u2019 was born<\/strong>\u00a0and, since then, it has been available to all agents, companies and institutions that want to join forces to reduce polluting emissions generated by infrastructure and maritime transport.<\/h3>\n

Among the members<\/strong>\u00a0that have joined the initiative to date and have contributed to its promotion are:<\/h3>\n
