On September 22, Porsche celebrated its 70th anniversary in collaboration with Club Weepora. The event consisted of an urban circuit where more than 80 Porsche models visited different emblematic locations in Marbella, ending in Puerto Banús as the icing on the cake. The route started at the premises of CS Porsche Sportwagen Marbella with welcome gifts, after which the drivers set out along the Ronda road with a strategic stop at Terraza Catalonia to enjoy a delicious aperitif. The participants were able to get their strength back at Restaurante Pedro Romero, before starting their engines once again for Benahavis, where a prize was awarded at Gran Hotel Benahavis to the most sophisticated vehicle.
Puerto Banús in the pole position of motoring
The luxury motoring sector has found its own show circuit at Puerto Banús. For more than 40 years, Banús has been an incomparable spot for showing off the newest and most collectable vehicles to the world. Recently, Tesla set up its own pop-up store in a prime location at the Port, where users were able to try out the latest models from this maker. Indeed, the celebration by Porsche joins similar events held recently at Banús, such as the fourth edition of Autobello. Thus, the marina positions itself internationally as one of the strategic venues for those who make or love luxury cars.
