Ferris big wheel for Malaga

FOLLOWING months of studies and discussions, the wheels are turning to bring a giant ferris wheel to Malaga port.
The port authorities and Mederyt, the company that wants to install the attraction, are outlining an agreement which will now have to be approved by the town planning and air safety departments.
If approved, the 70 metre high wheel with capacity for about 1,000 visitors per hour would possibly be placed at the entrance to the port from Plaza de la Marina.
Although a 65 metre wheel set up for the city’s fair back in 2012 caused problems with Aesa air safety department, the port location is further from the airport and therefore less likely to be refused.Ferris
